Sweetcorn is a popular snack food in the Dominican Republic. The corn is cooked in the tank of hot water attached to his bike. Keeping the water hot is a charcoal fire under the bucket on a metal platform. When he makes a sell he pulls an ear from the hot water with the prongs on the end of his stick.
