Description

D80 sig50-500@320mm ISO800 F6.3 SS1/800
Tri-Pod at Gatorland.
All the Nesters around the Main Lagoon are WILD BIRDS they nest here because of the safety the gators insure. No Raccoon or snakes raiding nest for eggs or chicks. The feeding of young is accomplished by the Adults fly off to feed elsewhere at least twice a day. While the lagoon is loaded with fish it doesn't supply what the birds need for the young.
Many however enjoy the SPORT of Hot Dog Stealing from both Gators being fed and by those
who set the treats down and turn their heads for an instant. All the Birds will snatch up unguarded
food in the blink of an eye.
HAVE A FUN FILLED WEEKEND

Beautiful bird and capture, Jack!! Always reassuring to realize even wildlife enjoy a little junk food now and then.

I have the Canon facility about 15 minutes away...it has become increasingly more crowded over the years. I don't mind the cost so much of my Tamron lens repair but the wait is killing me...last year when it was in the shop it took 3 months to get it back!! #10238385
