This ones JUST A WEE BIT HIGHER UP around 11,000
feet or so and on The Bear Tooth Hwy. Not to far in actual miles from yesterdays shot from along the Chief Joseph but about 4hrs in travel/shooting time. Although commonly called an Alpine meadow it's more like Tundra up this high. NO TREES NO BUSHS Just the barest of grass and very small plants. Animal life consists of a couple of small rodents & the Raptors who prey on them and both are scarce
The View is as you see, often obscured by cloud cover but but being there in person.
