NOT a TADPOLE
Description: Yesterday I ventured to the pond to check on the tadpoles. I was distracted by angry blue jay chatter in a tree branch above the pond. Three jays were jumping around angrily, but I couldn’t see why. And then I saw the chartreuse claw. There was a “Little Green Heron” on the dead branch above. The jays were chastising him to lunacy. I had no camera with me, and the birds flew off. I decided to look for the tadpoles. (continued in discussion area). I got a late start this morning--will comment later.
