Standing By in the Fog

Uploaded: July 07, 2012

Description

Another old photo that I re-discovered while copying CD's to an external drive for easier, quicker access.

Valdez, Alaska

This was taken early in a very foggy morning just before the opening hour. The seiners were just idling around positioning themselves for the big rush. I like the quiet, foggy mood of this scene.

ISO-100, f8.0, 1/80

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/800 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, FocalLength: 28.10 mm, Model: CYBERSHOT

This is a great shot, Gary. You've really captured the essence of the morning fog and the impending call to action. Very nice work. #1473602
