Very pretty! I would not presume to tell anyone how to name a photo, and I like your title, but I took in your title and name at the same time and at first I thought is said "Hot in Cleveland" and I thought - thats clever! #10216804Robert R. Goodman July 06, 2012

It's really bad when sunflowers can't take the heat! Love the composition and perspective, Jo Ann! #10216885Anthony G. Comella July 06, 2012
Super beautiful Jo Ann, you certainly captured this beauty perfectly!! #10217065Debbie Bray July 06, 2012
I understand the heat well when we have our summers! Chooks start dropping, and old people die with heat exhaustion, truly terrible! Nice capture of how the heat is affecting everything, including this sunflower. #10217232JO ANN CLEVELAND July 06, 2012
Thanks everybody..I went back to the "Sunshine Farm" and it was pitiful! All the sunflowers were dead and dry, sooo sad...we are hoping for some rain the next few days, even if it is just6 a little!\

Beautiful capture. :O)Shirley A. Kinney July 07, 2012
Beautiful, Jo Ann. Sunflowers are always gorgeous, even if they are drooping. We have about an acre of them and they are in full bloom but begging for water. Ones in the flower garden are looking good cause they are being watered with the sprinkler system. Some are at least 12 feet tall. #10218639Mary Dimitriw July 08, 2012
Gorgeous Jo Ann, they are like sunny umbrellas! Very hot up north here too! #10219317Heather Loewenhardt July 08, 2012
Love this draping look of this wonderful and colourful flower #10220612Patricia A. Casey July 09, 2012
lovely capture Jo Ann.....sorry to read about them all dying....makes us really understand how important water is in our lives doesn't it? I live in Arizona where it is a way of life come June/July/August/September and sometimes October.....over 100 most days, but it is a dry heat. I would rather live here than back east this time of year. I was born & lived in New York City for 30 years.....summers were brutal in those days...no air conditioning (truly) in our apartment. So here's hoping we taking warming and water conservation seriously.... Here's hoping everyone gets rain real soon!.. #10221166Emile Abbott July 11, 2012
