Yes the sands of White Sands are so pure white it does look like new snow....sunglasses required most of the time due to the intense glare. Gypsum fields of sand and if you're not careful...you'll have gypsum fields of sand in your car too (LOL) This year I had a mat to lay my equipment on while shooting and had yoga mats in the truck for our feet.
