 Yellowstones SERIOUS STEAM Description: This is the Excelsior Geyser Crater in YSNP This shot was taken the end of Sept 2011 a couple of hours after sunrise. Temps were down below freezing over night . So you can just Imagine how much more impressive this must be in the FRIGID WINTER MONTHS. This is Located in the same group of Geysers as the Grand Prismatic Spring Between Old Faithful and the Madison Junction of the Park Drive.
