Half Past 1925

Description

A stand-out detail of The Hecht Co.'s grand D.C. flagship store is the large, ornate corner clock mounted above 7th and F Street.
Clad in glazed terra cotta, the building offered 7 floors of retail. Hecht's was one of D.C.'s prominent store brands for more than a century, but
like so many once-great regional chains, it was eventually gobbled up by larger conglomerates, and the brand name was eventually discarded.

Exif: F Number: 9, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/320 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 105.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D

Great Find & Title Love the clock & remember the Hecht Co. from my time in N.Va. back in the 70-80's.
