Photographer's light Overcast 3

Beautiful curved lines are created by the shape of the lilies. These lines are graceful and have a gentle flowing movement. Although they flow out, curved lines like a circle flow back in like a circle. Just like the curved lines, straight lines of the green blades of grass keep the viewer's eye moving from lily to lily.

Once the viewer's eye leaves the picture, the interest is gone. So it's important to pay attention where lines leave the picture and how to prevent them from leaving. You will learn more about this in a future rule. More curves from the stamens in the center of the lilies add visual interest. Notice how photographer's light (overcast) create soft edges in the image. #1471249
