This is an example of all I have learned in BP courses.
It all starts with the light. Then comes the composition and how elements of the scene before us gets placed in the frame. Then how does one want the scene to be viewed which leads to the choices about aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and what needs to be emphasized by sharp focusing. What are the lines, textures, shapes and patterns are there and how should they be used, emphasized or de-emphasized.
Thomas, I see here how you have done it all! Hmmm....I only life 100 miles or so from that lighthouse. #10237665

Thanks Lori :)

I haven't checked in since 7-20 Sorry Lindley, Frank and Guy. Thank you all for your thoughtful comments.

@ Frank. Sounds like the BP courses are at least covering all the fundamental landscape principals. One important factor I would add is to always make sure that YOU are also represented in your work. Fine Art photography is a wonderful way to express your vision. :) #10263555

Thomas, I hope everyone will click on to your webpage asI have just done. Wonderful photos. The colors are amazing. Choice of music, however...how about some Smoky Mt. Bluegrass?

I do not have much confidence in my own artistic abilities, but I am working on it. #10264808

:0 I no longer have control over the music choices since I dropped the "buy it now" button from my website (wow-expensive) I would prefer to change the theme for the home page slide show for sure! #10264825
