Steer Wrestling is one of those rodeo events where you aren't sure who you should be cheering for.
This steer wasn't going down without a fight.

Well, you have to feel sorry for the animals, they're there because they have no choice. Fabulous sharp capture in this rodeo scene, Heather. I'm like you, I love the action shots of the rodeo, but not particularly what the poor beast goes through. #10190397

Heather, this is an amazing scene from rodeo life!
The determined look of the cowboy, and the wild-eyed look of the steer, are superbly captured here.
I, too, dislike what the animals go through. Small consolation: unlike bullfighting, these cattle live to see another day...and another "performance " ... #10190536
