Beautiful, and an interesting description. It made me think of the sword tail (aquarium fish, often) that may start out life as a female and then change to a male if males are needed in the "neighborhood." Nature is truly amazing. #1467860

The beautiful white horses of the Camargue start out black or brown and take 4 or 5 years to change to white.
