Satin Gardenia
Description: Saw this very perfect gardenia bloom at the Agricenter in Memphis and shot the image to get full dof on the flower. The background then had to be addressed in post as it was very busy with foliage (could not have used the idea you told me about in this situation). When I tried the solarization filter in Color Effex, it did the trick. 1st use I've ever found for solarization. Outer petals form a slight C and the petals are repeating shapes.
