Good to Go (wk8) - Windy flight

Description

Took this photo during the white balance assignment and then tried cropping it to make a more pleasing shot. Really liked how the seagull was gliding over the surface of the water with the island mountains framing the background.

Thanks for a great course! I'm amazed at how much I've learned and how much more I can now do with my camera. During my walk around Vancouver a tourist asked if I could take a picture of him with the Olympic torches in the background. I asked what kind of shot would he like and he said, "you decide, you're the expert!"...so I put him off to the side with the torches more as the focal point (he loved it). The compliment caught me off guard but I definitely feel more skilled now than I did in early March! Thank you!
