Muddy work

Description

Day 14 enroute to Fendu. Muddy work, but no toxic emissions or discharges to the fields and food. These low-tech farmers work simultaneously with their animals to plow and fertilize the fields. And the fertilizer is natural, not made with toxic mining wastes or fossil fuels, as it is in the USA. However, the farmer was embarrassed that he could not afford an expensive tractor.

I really enjoy the lines here, Bunny, and the capture of this man's working day. And, hey, that "tractor" doesn't need expensive fuel either. #1459197

Thank you, Mitch.

We told our guide lots of things to tell the farmer and that was one of them. It does not need expensive, toxic fuel!

But, the farmer did not want to be photographed because he was embarrassed that he could not afford expensive farm equipment presumably that was promoted by American companies. #10111933
