Butler vs. Winchester

Description

My next door neighbor is a professional boxer and he fought on March 30th at the Longbranch Saloon in Raleigh, NC. Here, he is on the receiving end of an uppercut. The lighting inside the bar was tough, and I shot this image with my lens open at 24mm, an ISO of 6400, aperture of f2.8 and a shutter speed of 1/500. I like the action and the expression, and I think the ropes from the image nicely. There is probably too much space above the top rope. Boxing photography is challenging but great!

Exif: F Number: 2.8, Exposure Bias Value: 5.00, ExposureTime: 1/500 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 6400, FocalLength: 24.00 mm, Model: NIKON D7000
