Self portrait circa 2012

Description

After posting a self portrait from a sad period in my life in 1957, I figured it would be good to post a happier me today. This image taken in my home with no flash. Hadn't even shaved or dressed yet, but then being retired allows one to do what one wants, whenever he wants. Happier times indeed.

Shutter Speed: 1/2.00 F-stop: f/7.1
Focal Length: 50.00

Exif: F Number: 7.1, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/2 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 50, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: SLT-A77V

You know Dale, I'm with you all the way. I am retired too and I sometimes spend the entire day dressed as you are in this photo. We earned it didn't we! Happier times indeed. Perfect retirement photo Dale. #1454455

You DO look hale, hearty, and HAPPY! Congratulations. I recently applied for SS, so I guess I'll be joining you in glow! #10076038

Thank you Dave. Now if I could just start taking pictures with the same impact as yours, I'd be even happier.

Michelle, thanks for the nice comments. And welome to wonderful world of the retired. I've never been to your area except once for one day while on a tour. Your album makes it so inviting and now that you'll have more time, am looking forward of seeing more. #10076574
