Dale on the bird in the hand shot, I might reduce the saturation a little bit. Nice angle. Of course I love kestrels. I don't know if we are going to get ours to nest here this year or not. They are around but don't seem to be inclined to moving #10048449

Just got back from you blog...you got some great shots...nice detail. The tiger looked so bored with you. Reminded me of a snooty model! lol Very cool that they allow people to pet the giraffes. Did you? My favorite shot so far other than this zebra shot is the headshot of the giraffe with the great bokeh in the background. :~) #10053400

Thanks Aimee. All zoos in this area have giraffe feeding pellets for the tourists. Have a few shots of my daughter also. She loves it.

The tiger was a bit bored and was hiding. The part that intrigued me was getting the shot through the wire fence without it showing. Couldn't have done that with my old lens. #10053423
