...and thus sprang the daffodil...

Description

...and thus sprang the daffodil
among the hues of green
above the river's splendor
beneath an azure sea...

an oasis ever welcomed
after Winter's farewell sigh
beckons longer days
and warmer midnight skies.

she worships in the moment
dancing in the sun
'the gilded petal waltz'
a rhythm all her own.

and thus Springs the daffodil
poised with joyous faith
a bouquet of beauty unsurpassed
the essence of His grace.

A lovely image and nice poem to go with it. Never would have thought of doing a soft focus close up, but it works! Great work. #10256206

Thanks again Philip for your encouraging comments! This bloom is from my Mother-in-Law's garden. She passed away in March. The poem and bloom are a tribute to her. She is deeply missed... #10258425
