Dandelion seeds ride the wind to start a new life. A close-up made possible by using the 35mm lens attached in reverse to the camera body using a reversing ring.

Dominick, since you also use a Nikon, the BR2-A reversing ring will fit just fine with your D7000. It needs some getting used to first, but after a while you start capturing some decent macros. This will work nice on many prime lens specially the 50/1.8 and 35/1.8 prime Nikors. I used the ring on the 35/1.8, which gives it a 1*3.35 times macro, meaning that about 3.35 life size blow-ups. This reversing ring cost about 40 USD, which is way cheap than a dedicated Nikor macro lens. Hope this helps.
