Pom, I have to tell you: the dark background was because of the shadowy area I was shooting into around the blossom. The only choice I had during the "photo op" was to use or not to use my tripod. Glad I used it! #10026339

Very nice work on this floral Mary, the purity and textures on the whites are displayed so dramatically against the black background. The small ant adds a lot of interest to this image as it provides the sense of scale and macro perspective. Very well done. #10027247
