This is very beautiful Debbie, I feel as thought I am standing at the top of those stairs. I would also like to see them from the other side, looking up:) #1447394

Thank you, Sue. This was taken on my fall trip to Ohio to see my daughter. These wooden steps were interspersed throughout the falls and fit in nicely with the natural surroundings. This is for Dale!s challenge . I do have a couple more step images but I am not at my computer. I sm watching Once Upon a Time and sending emails at the same time!

Debbie, not only is this perfect for the challenge, but a beautiful scene in all ways. Very nice balance of tones in an area where it would be easy to have things lost in shadows and with blown skies. Well done! #10021977

Thanks all! I spent the better portion of today editing images from this place and actually came up with a few more shots. I also had to "tone down" several earlier HDR edits that I thought were fine a couple months ago. It is funny how it takes time to define what you want out of any kind of new process. Anyhow here are more steps... #10022010

What a delightful image Debbie; one of those tourist brochure shots that has one saying, 'must take this in when we are in that area'. And, having said that, in ten days time Elizabeth and I are driving to Cleveland. The purpose of going there is to meet up with an autistic artist, Seth Chawst and his mom Debra. Seth who has international acclaim having appeared twice on the Today program and whose work has been shown in galleries worldwide has a painting exhibition showing at the Cleveland gallery. Elizabeth first contacted Seth a few years ago , through Debra, to ask permission to use Seth's story and images in lesson plans for her art students at her school. His story is so inspirational that perhaps you good folk might care to google 'Seth Chwast' and marvel at how a young man, now 28 who was professionally diagnosed as "will only ever be a janitor or the like" has now reached fame in the art world.
We will only be there for a long weekend so Bridal Veil falls might not fit in with a tight schedule but at least I have enjoyed your image Debbie., so thanks. #10022975

Love this Debbie! I particularly like how the stairs are so centered on top, but then go off to the right at the bottom, leading your eyes to the waterfall! #10023152

How many people go straight for a shot of the falls without anything in the way and they pass up this beautiful view! Very nicely seen Debbie and I agree you did a nice job with the exposure. :~) The only thing I could even suggest would be the removal of the cars, but they are so small...not a deal breaker at all. #10023510

Easy to do, Aimee. Will work on that tomorrow. Your eagle eye is as good as ever! I had noticed those but then didn't do anything about them. #10024159

I don't know if it is or not. I'll have to look into that. I know the show Leverage is filmed in Portland. #10027151
