So pleased to see you here at this time Laura. I love your sense of humour. I'm glad it wasn't a real bear, whew! You executed your idea beautifully. #1446571

Love this Laura!!! A winner in my book!
My son's mother-inlaw, who is less than 5ft tall thought she heard knocking at their back door. Well what she heard was a black bear shaking her door looking through the side-lite. Not to be intimidated she picked up her broom and started yelling and hitting the door with her broom. The last thing she seen of the bear was his south end running into the bush, lol.. #10015051

Hi everyone! Thank you so very much! It was fun to pull your leg even if for only a moment. A couple hours ago I sent this link to my nephew down in the States and he e-mailed back and said "I didn't know you had such a nice view!!!" Did I pull his leg or was he pulling mine? Lol...

Thanks all, for each wonderful comment. WOW! :)))))

Night night!

Hi Bobby, Monnie, Lydia and Tammers! :)

I really needed a kick start lately to get back into being creative and I can tell you, having some new filters and software was really the ticket! (And having my Fractalius filter back!)

Emile, when you arrive on the thread here, I wanted to tell you that you will be staying right here on this lake when you stay at "Château Lake Louise". And I mean RIGHT HERE. Walk out of the door to this! :))) In fact my friend, we have two hotels in the Rockies that we consider Castles or Palaces and YOU are staying at BOTH!!! At Lake Louise and in Banff Townsite!

ALSO Emile if you liked my image "Take a Peak" ... you will be 25 minutes from that lake (CLOSE!) while at Lake Louise and I suggest you get up VERY early and make your way there. Ask the front desk AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE for side tours if at all possible. Arrange it the day before (Or even now???!!! Things book up fast!). :) It's called Moraine Lake, Valley of the 7 Peaks. ALSO make it to Peyto Lake. Also in the Lake Louise area but the opposite direction from Moraine about a half an hour. I do hope you will have time. They are must see's and in my gallery to view.

Send me the exact dates for Lake Louise and Banff Springs hotel, too, and maybe we can try and be camping there during those days and can wisk you around in your short time here?

Once you have gotten a taste of our Rockies you can fly back and just stay in them a while and take in Gods beautiful creations for a lot longer!

Thanks everyone! :)))

Thanks so much Laura it was your and Stan K images that convinced us to go ahead and do this while we were able. It looks beautiful and I can not wait. Talking about bear attacks when we were on the tundra at Cape Churchill on Hudson Bay a bear did crack the window by my sleeping birth and I had to fill the hole with my heavy jacket to keep from freezing in 29 degrees below 0. Bear attack do occur!!
Keep those rockies coming and thanks again my friend. Emile #10016637

It would be worth breaking the glass if the view on the window is as extra-ordinary as this. Wonderful rendition of Lake Louise, even made more inviting with your fabulous effects Laura. #10020549

Hi John, Barbara, Emile, Theresa, Kitty, Wm, Neal, and Rey!

I'm really enjoying your comments and bear stories on this thread! :)))

Last summer at the Lake Louise campground there was a bear running around in the early hours looking for food while we slept in. Good thing I hadn't gotten up at 6am to cook my traditional Canadian Lazy Maple Bacon and Eggs or WE'D HAVE BEEN THE BACON! HA!

Thanks for all you said here!!! You guys are the best!

I thought you were rather calm for just having had your window smashed!!! All the same, I think I'll stay with roos & cockys hanging around the campsites. A good fun image, well presented=^..^= #10123680
