On Alert
Uploaded: February 23, 2012
I almost crushed this little gecko with my foot when I attempted to get closer to a flower I was shooting. Thankfully I looked down before I stepped and got a much better shot of him than the flower. We were both "On Alert" today.

Good for you, avoiding tromping on him and getting such a nice shot at the same time, Heather. Here this winter there are lots of anoles. I keep rescuing them from the dog and the cat when they get onto the screened porch, poor little fellas. #10002779Nancy L. Green February 27, 2012
