Summer Freeze
Description: This was shot last August 2005, which is summertime in California. The temperature had been in the high 90's to low 100's where I live, so I was surprised to see the amount of snow and ice on this lake. The wind was howling when I shot this--the camera was shaking, and I was shaking, too because of the brutal cold.
