Very cool, Aimee! Now we just need someone to do this with their dishwasher and we'll have a full kitchen! #1441589

What's cookin' Aimee? Hope it's a cake for my birthday. I like chocolate.

Just for critiques sake, can you try it again and try some softer lighting? #9968210

This made me laugh!! :) Fun shot!! :) #9968297

My first idea was to put my camera in a pot and be holding the lid and a wooden spoon, but none of my lenses could catch the edge of the pot. Thanks Jeff! :~)

Well I did make garlic toast right after doing this Dale. Sorry no cake...is your birthday coming up? And I don't think my softbox will fit in my oven. I did my usual high contrast stuff so you would probably like the straight out of camera better. :~)

Glad you got a chuckle Bean....I actually really like the shot. Made it my FB profile picture. Thanks! :~) #9968421

Great shot, Aimee. #9968444

Aimee - try a piece of plain old copy paper over your flash. Much smaller than your soft box :o)

Oh, I like the idea of the pot. I'm gonna have to try that before I give the fisheye back :o) #9968475

Oh darn! There goes another idea that I have been thinking about. Oh well, the sirloin top roast will not go to waste, that's tonights dinner taken care of.

A fun image Aimee! #9969570

What a great idea.... jeepers your oven is a clean as Dales Fridge!!

Great colour and perspective, with your oven mitts close to the lens. Well Done!! #9969897

Very cool Aimee! Hmm - could use my dishwasher for this - it isn't good for much else! It hasn't worked in years, but we keep it so the hole in the counter is full! lol #9970402

Not just cool....You're " Smokin"' Aimee. This is just awesome. Geat POV, wonderful color, leading lines that practically sizzle and a smiling face to boot!

I hope you do try the pot Jeff because I don't think it can be done without a fisheye. :~)

Thanks all...this was a fun one! The first shot I took I was wearing a black sweater and it looked like my head was floating...lol

I look forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with. :~)

Ha ha ha Debbie....smokin n sizzling. You crack me up!

PS:My stove is only a year old so that might be why it's so clean. The other reason is that I probably don't use it enough other than for dry stuff (garlic toast, fries, tatters) #9971569

Another wonderful idea for the contest and well executed, Aimee. Yep, I'm afraid my oven would look like something out of a monster movie. I may give your pot idea try just to see if it will work with my equipment. Great point of view, and color. #9971692

Aimee C. Eisaman February 11, 2012

Thanks Mike and thank you so much for doing the pot idea....I really wanted to see that one! ;~) #9977077

Ever since I did the teeth photo I was going to try an oven photo like this.

I was also going to shoot inside of a mail box looking out.

I didn't do either.

Great work Aimee. I hope you didn't cook your camera. #10011378

Aimee C. Eisaman February 28, 2012

Thanks Irene... your teeth one was the inspiration for this challenge set by Dale Hardin. :~) To be honest I was a bit worried I might do something stupid and leave the camera in there. I did cook dinner right after taking this shot and who knows...one of the kids could have distracted me. So glad that didn't come to pass! lol #10011436
