Description

A photo of a Black Flanked Rock Wallaby which is threatened. The population has taken a recent crash on all our sites, which has sparked some worry. They are very cute and shy. They are very fast on the granite rocks on which they live. This is a female, we are currently working very hard to find out what is going on.

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/80 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 400.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D

Thank you Inge for the kind words I really appreciate them : )

Jeff, Jack and Michelle - Thank you for the kind words, we are in the process of implementing plans and programs to deal with it. We might not see any noticeable change for some months.

Some drastic changes might need to be made, so should be interesting to see what comes out of it. #9960496

Thank you Christopher, Merna and Stan. I really appreciate the kind words and feedback.

Chris - Yeah I spent a long time in different places over a few weekends to get this photo. I found a good spot and sat there for about 2 hours. I finally got this female on her way out of the cave with the family as the sun came up. She was curious but also careful as she was watching over the others for danger. #10058961
