Small but Mighty

Description

Meet the Pygmy Falcon. Notice how small this little guy is perched on a finger. These are the smallest raptors found in southern and eastern Africa. They are around 6" and eat insects, reptiles and small mammals. Too cute for words so hopefully a photo will do!

Beautiful. Kind of like our American Kestrel in size, though this one is a tad littler. Well, if you had to be a predator's victim, it might as well be this cutie eating you! #1436857

But notice the leather glove Michelle! He probably has a nasty little bite and sharp little claws :-D #9923186
