-A Winter Afternoon in Texas-

Last weekend the cloud formations were very dramatic - I grabbed the camera and drove along one of my favorite back-roads to see what I could find interesting. I thought that the sky, this old tree and the country road went together very nicely.

Jeff, this is fantastic! That sky would draw any good photographer out of the house in search of scenes like this. Your pov makes the tree look so stately and proud, while the composition lets those stunning clouds rule over the land below.

I'm not sure if this has a spooky effect, or exciting with empending weather?! Maybe both! I'd love to see a whole CALENDAR of images like this using the same treatment.
