Description

Christmas had already come
and gone by the time we
arrived in San Antonio,
but the decorations were
still in place all over the
river walk. It was all quite
beautiful! Including this
gorgeous Christmas tree in
the Rivercenter, where there is a shopping mall,
with 100+ stores. In the background is only part
of the mall, also riverside entrances
to many of the fabulous restaurants.
The Rivercenter mall is anchored by Macy's,
as well as the 38-story, 1,001-room Marriott hotel.
I recommend a visit here at anytime!

San Antonio always was a beautiful place to visit (with some scruffy few cool places to hang out in.) After the Hemisfair in 1968, the town went nuts developing the River Walk and adding hotels like this. Now, SA is a combination of beautiful - old and new.
