Zoolights Polar Panorama

Uploaded: January 09, 2012

Description

Zoolights has been a Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium tradition for many years in Tacoma, Washington, starting just after Thanksgiving and continuing until New Year’s Day. In this 360-degree image to the left you have the “flaming tree” and to the right you have a depiction of Mount Rainier. The 50-images were captured with a tripod supporting a homemade panoramic nodal bracket holding the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera with vertical grip vertically set at ISO 400 and f/8 using a wide-angle zoom lens (12 to 24). Entered into the “Digital Darkroom” category.
