Hi John, Jeff and Michelle.

There were so many beautiful animals at this Ranch in Northern Alberta. But these two just stood out to me. There was another one that did too...It had stripes on it but it was a horse. It must have been part Zebra? I'll dig up a shot and add it here. Maybe someone knows for sure?!

Thanks you guys! So nice to see you all here today! I will visit you soon!

Hi Neal, Kalena, Daniella, Shelly, Mr. Tree, Steve, Emile, Paddy and Mare. :)))

Would you like to hear what my favorite photo shoot day is like?

It's spent in total peace. In nature and with nature. Just watching it and blending in, with the exception of the click of my two cameras and the occasional sounds of the crunching of twigs under my feet as I walk.

I bet maybe it's the same for you? :)

I hope we all get many chances like this in, 2012, to just enjoy this great Earth and all that is here for us to see and take in!

LIFE CAN BE SUCH AN ADVENTURE if we ONLY MAKE IT HAPPEN! :)

Thank you everyone. Good to see you all.

I've always been intrigued by the way horses walk in step, drink together and eat together.

Clearly you dug in your files for this summer photo. You've probably gotten a lot of snow in Canada by now.

I know a man who has a Zdonk. A cross between a zebra and a donkey. I think I have a picture of it somewhere. #9914597

Harmony is the word for sure, MSSSLala. Wonderful colors in this delightful image. And the lighting is perfect, making their coat shine so beautifully.
They could be mother and daughter or 'just' best mates. We had two mares that were inseperable. Most of the time they would walk side by side like this. #9918744

(HeeHee to you Tam-Tam!...P.S. I'll write you privately about the next trip!)

I agree Kitty! They sure were! TY!

Irene, I sure did. These were from back in June. :) Good eye!!! We have sure had snow and there is more on the way. We've also been blessed with several Chinooks so are knocking on wood. Zdonk, hey? I've love to see that pic! Thanks for the visit!!!

SSSKiki!!! Our resident horse whisperer!!! I wish I had been a country girl and not a city girl. I know I have missed out on a lot. I realised it when visiting this delightful ranch! I got to pet several types of animals there and it was such a neat experience! :)))

Thank you all so much!

You've captured them perfectly Laura!! Such unison and harmony for sure! #9919319

Laura E. Swan level-classic January 14, 2012

Thank you Mary! I couldn't get over it...but now I can see by what Irene and Kiki have said, horses often do this. I had no idea!

Being a city kid all I knew of horses were the barn sour ones that you rent that are sick of humans who don'tknow how to handle them properly. My sister got bit on the foot by one as she sat on top of it and I became horrified of horses as a kid. They reminded me of giant Doberman Pinchers! HA!

Now, I am starting to see them in a new light. I even petted a few of them at this ranch and it was wonderful.

Thanks for visiting! (All of you!)
