Description

From November to March, the Sea of Cortez is a windsurfer's paradise, particularly from the central coast southward. In Los Barriles on the East Cape, sideshore winds collectively called El Norte, are aided by thermals from the Sierra de La Laguna and blow 18-30 knots for weeks at a time.
