I just thought of something Mel, when you are doing a layer to smooth the image I always duplicate the image first, so that after appling the filter I can go back and erase the filter from the eyes, nostrils and mouth and any jewlery that the model is wearing, like the girls head bands! Not necessarily at 100%, maybe 50%...just some thoughts!
