A B&W close-up of the ornate stair railings found inside the Tippecanoe County Courthouse. Built in 1882,the Tippecanoe County Courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places and is truly a treasure. The architectural style suggests the influence of Baroque, Gothic, Georgian, Victorian, Beaux Arts, Neo-Classical, and Second Empire styles. A major restoration began in 1991. The two year project cost over $15 million.
