Hi David;
Wow, I really like this one. Great rugged mtn and silvery water.

G'day *David*!

You have found a remarkable scene here. So easy to be glanced over and dismissed but if one stops and looks into the image one can be drawn right in. I found myself studying all the shapes, textures, folds and crevices and soaking up the pure geology of the imagery.

I do have a concern though with the skyline across the background mountains. Your sharpening has produced a quite discernible black edging to the skyline and is evidence of over sharping. My view on sharpening landscapes is to leave the background edges alone as in reality we do not see them very sharp at all. (Justathort!)
The constrast, tonal range, highlights and depth all make this photograph a very attractive landscape.
