Great Horned Owl
Description: It's been a while since I've done any serious wildlife photography, so I was really happy to come across a Great Horned Owl during my morning walk today. If the crows hadn't told me it was something in the tree bothering them, I would probably just have walked by without noticing. He was really blending in in the environment, even though the sun was rising and bringing out the best in the colors. Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA. f/7.1, 1/125 sec, ISO 800, focal length 260 mm
