Beautiful color and detail, Dale!! I really like the way you cropped it as well...

I still have not taken any surf shots since I last saw you...still having camera problems and I've been doing more surfing myself... #9613716

what kind of camera problems? Oh well, at least you're getting in some surfing so it can't all be bad. Are you going to Moorpark in Nov? #9614666

Thank You Emile. These grow in our front yard. Would be even better if I took care of them. :o) #9620374

I saw these in Vancouver for the first time 2 summers ago! you are lucky to be able to grow these in your front yard. Calgary has very challenging growing conditions and although we can grow some nice roses, these just don't survive here! #9952236

MY wife was a big Betty Boop fan and these are called the "Betty Boop" rose. All our roses grow so much that the gardeners trim them with hedge shears.

lol...hedge shears? Are you kidding me...we go at our roses, except for the Alberta wild rose, with delicate little pruning shears! #9952263

Next time they are in full bloom I'll take a pix and then another when trimmed. They end up looking like a hedge but within weeks they are in full bloom again. #9952952
