I think Lyn, that this one is even better then the previous one ( the horse) because the eyes of the dog are really calling for attention , which was not really the case in the former photo ( although I still beleive it is a fantastic picture)

Your background textures always enhance your photos so nicely. Could you explain a little about your technique to blend the layers. Do you use built in texture or do you have another program for textures?

Thanks Irene,I use CS4 and have a folder in bridge with textures which I have downloaded or taken I pick what I think might work and load them into photoshop [tools>photoshop>load files into photoshop layers] then move the textures on top of the image, resize and play with the blend modes and opacity to get the effect I like, hope this helps! #9613732
