Thank you everyone. The greatest honor for me is to be able to volunteer at the Vietnam Memorial and experience the emotions that are always there. As often as I am able, I try to be there to listen to visitors, experience their visit with them, and educate them about the memorial. It is so beautiful in its simplicity.
The 30th anniversary will be celebrated this November. All the names will be read in 65 hours over the 4 days leading up to Veteran's Day. Look for me there. #10156900

Thank you for posting this image of "The Wall". My husband was a field medic for 11 months and 12 days of his year tour to Viet Nam. All those who survived, as well as those who, in the midst of carnage gave the ultimate sacrifice were competent and courageous. Im proud of my husband for saving many lives with his skill and bravery. I remind him often of the countless mothers of the fallen who silently thank him for caring for their sons in their last moments. God Bless America. #10157194
