A rework of an earlier favorite from Washington National Cathedral; I really like the strong lines formed by these two
wrought iron railings, against the lighter limestone.

Thank you all very much. As soon as the building reopens to the public (now delayed at least until 9/4/11) I plan to revisit the areas I've photographed and compare before-and-after, for any earthquake damages. From what I've heard from staff members so far, this particular area was not damaged, and most of the damage is contained to the upper exterior areas.
