The Wong Barn

Description:

This barn has been the backdrop to family pictures and wedding photos, painted by local artists and photographed for its majesty and reminder of days gone by. It has a stone foundation and hip roof that were typical of prairie design at the turn of the century. This landmark has had several owners. Charlie Wong purchased it in 1952 and it remains in the family today. I photographed this barn in 2008 and again this week. It hasn't changed all that much in the last three years.
