Outstanding work Dale. I sure hope the judges recognize it and we see it again. Am adding this to my favorites.

By the way, see you next week at the Civil War reenactment. #9547146

Avril, thank you so much. I loved your gallery and especially the two images "A lovely young lady" and "another beautiful young lady" Our techniques appear similar and would love to discuss them in more detail with you. #9547301

Fred, you can't be dating yourself any more that I. At 76 I remember those with fondness and admiration. Loved the artwork.

Thank you Robert, and hopefully will see you there. Looking forward to it. #9547307

I still read Saturday Evening Post but the artwork is not what it used to be.

Excellent work Dale. This does look like a page from an old magazine.

Your Granddaughter is a beauty. As someone suggested this would be something from the post years ago. You did an excellent job of recreating this time. Your Granddaughter should be very proud to have a Grandfather that is so talented in his work. #9551443

thank you Patricia. I'm pretty proud of her too. Her parents did a good job. Betty and I were lucky enough to have her the first two years because both parents worked. #9551708
