Mt. Norquay From
Tunnel Mountain Drive
Banff National Park
ALBERTA, CANADA

Hi Guys. I know this one looks
DANGEROUSLY like LAST NIGHTS image.
They were taken within seconds of each other.

Do you like this one better?
I Think I -DO-!!!!
(Compare the mountain tops. This one is better defined, right?!!!)

Thanks for your help with this one! :)

Night night.

Breathtaking Beauty - Wonderful pov and capture Laura!! I could use some cool mountain air right about now - Yesterday was the 17th straight day above 100 for us! #9539509

Monnie Ryan July 19, 2011

Love 'em both, Laura, although MAYBE I'd give this one the edge! Well done! #9539823

Ron McEwan July 19, 2011

For those of you who might read this thread. Laura lives where anywhere you look there is a photo op, I don't know how she can pick just one or two. I was up there at this time last year. The other blessing is you can see your breath in the morning. NOT HERE! #9540123

Stan Kwasniowski July 19, 2011

Laura, you being a tourist guide, you always show the best, this is my choice of the two #9540158

John Connolly July 19, 2011

Both images are excellent Laura, but like Stan I prefer this one! The country there is so impressive, I would need a huge amount of memory cards if I was travelling through those mountains! #9540698

Susan Weisensel July 19, 2011

Both are over the top beautiful Laura. I just can't pick one over the other. #9540776

Kirsten Kiki Kjaer July 20, 2011

Please don't make me choose, Sister. Pleaaaase!!
For every 2 meters there's a new breathtaking scene in the Rockies. And how enjoyable it is.
I love this one too, SSSLala. The colors and clarity are tops and the sky is awesome. #9541770

Mary K. Robison July 20, 2011

Don't make me have to pick either as a "favorite", Pom! (I must be as polite as Kiki, and add a PLEASE here.)
They really are both beautiful, whether closer or farther away --- by a few feet...
I'm glad the green is back in Canada. This is what Nature is all about.

Well, somehow I am just as confused as always after all that help! HA! No really, thank you all for your input. I like them both, too, but definition means a lot to me...so I guess I really do like this one better because of the mountain peak being clearly defined.

I wish you could all see the Rockies one day, those of you who never have.

I hope in a small way my gallery, Ron's gallery, Kiki and Lief's gallery and others on BP can take you there to all of OUR personal favorite spots but Kiki his it on the nail. Everywhere you turn there is another shot.

I so much enjoyed your comments. Lol, Ann! :))) Sorry about that! Jeff STAY COOL! WOW! 17 days straight??? Emile drive carefully! Maria you come on up here and we'll sneek up into the Rockies and we will have MOUNTIAN TOP Capachino together! WOW! Just your Big Sister and you. (((HUGS!)))

Thank you all.

I like this version better with better contrast and clarity, I think. If I'm not mistaken I also took a similar shot of this place eons ago and can't go wrong with a beautiful place like this. Banff is just one spectacular place with the snow covered mountains and blue skies as you show here. #9547461

Thanks Rey! Yes! You sure might have passed right by this. It's a back road to Lake Minniwanka. :) (Just outside of the Banff Townsite). So glad you got to see this area in your lifetime. Bet it has grown lots since you were here? Big crowds now in the summer so we locals love these quiet back roads more and more. The ones that the buses never really go on or stop on.

Hi Phyllis! Thanks so MUCH! :)

Happy to see you both here.

-Laura :D

P.S. Just got home from a nice week of camping at Lake Louise. Still unpacking. #9582104
