this was even hand held and I am so use to selecting my d300 that I forgot to select my cannon g9 instead for this one. #9516063

I have found the trick is not to hold my arms up in the air. its always fun to see what I get. Thanks Ron for commenting. #9519206

very cool - great hint to not hold your camera up - have to try that one.
How long did you have to hold it for both fireworks to go off? #9541404

michelle thanks for commmenting, I had it set on f/8, 2 sec I have a chair that lets me lend back a little and I keep my arm as close to me as possible, even after a while I get bored with just the straight shots I usually start moving my camera a little just to see what I can get. I get some pretty funky shot that are fun. but Michelle one of the reason why I think I do well I don't use my D300 its way big and heavy, I use my cannon G9 because it is small and light. hope this helped #9542214
