I love the catchlights in her big clear eyes, and the fine detail of her eyelashes. Because you moved in close and shot in photographer's light (see how shade has no harsh shadows, even at noon), all emphasis is on your subject. Good job.

Her fist is too large compared to her face, though. Here it is about 1/2 times the face. The normal proportion is about 1/4 times. The fingers on this little girl look like Robert's fingers. This problem is because of taking the picture with a wide angle lens. The solution is to not have the hand there, or move back and use the zoom on the lens, but only about a third of the zoom.

In ancient times the standard lens was 50mm, and the portrait lens was 80 or 100mm.

Compositions are more interesting when no two intervals are the same. Right now, your light subject and dark background split the frame in half. To make this composition stronger, frame your subject so that she takes up more room than the background. As we'll practice next with thirds, 2/3 : 1/3 works well.
