Hello Tiia, Mary Beth and Carolyn.
Thank you for your comments. Carolyn, this was made at the Long Beach, Cal. Aquarium of the Pacific... We were on holidays (only second time out of Canada) and I made 5450 shots of SoCal. We drove (with our sis-law TOURGUIDE) 1000 miles in 13 days... Awesome adventure! I have other cool shots of interesting sea life in my gallery from there, and will be uploading more... THE COLOUR IS AMAZING- when 'shooting' underwater life!

THanks again Misty!
I really was thrilled to see this too- watching starfish and octupus' intermingle-
The Aquarium of the Pacific is an awesome place to visit in Long Beach, Cal. 80% of the workers there are volunteers and they all need to have certification for diving. When watching the fish we got to listen to a guide (we couldn't see her)but she was explaining to us what was happening in the tanks while the divers were showing us what they do with the fish- how to check their health and feed them etc. The aquarium is a great learning place...
On our back stage tour, we toured there hospital, recovery rooms, and holding tanks... they even allow guests to watch on t.v. screens as surgeries are being performed!

I forgot to mention Misty, that they were performing surgery on an eel, when we were there - she had a brain tumor-
The tumor was removed successfully. #9473079

Oh, I bet Uriah is absolutely beautiful! And full of energy! I'd love to see her images if you could get her to sit still (while not sleeping)! LOL! #9478110
