Big Brown
Description: Wild Minnesota Black Bear Sow
When this Sow first appeared she was alone but later we discovered she had sent her two cubs up the tree for safety.
Despite their name, black bears show a great deal of color variation. Individual coat colors can range from white, blond, cinnamon, or light brown to dark chocolate brown or to jet black.
