Good parking

Uploaded: June 03, 2011

Description

This poor bloke had some explaining to do as to why he had done this fancy parking of a new caravan fair in the middle of the freeway in the morning traffic. Was nearly late for my appointment with the doctor, that turned out well. Now just have to get Tony on the mend. Lens aperture f/5, shutter speed 1/250sec, focal length 31mm, ISO 160.

Exif: F Number: 5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/2500 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 160, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 31.06 mm, Model: DSC-H70

Terrific capture of one of life's frustrating moments (or even longer..)! Glad you're doing well and am pulling for Tony also! #1382311

Glad your feeling better, well wishes for Tony!
Gawkers always slow down traffic in a accident usually more than the accident. Great capture!! #9442639

Oh dear! I have seen too many of THESE in my time. Always sad. My Hubby and I used to have a job that had us driving across the USA and BACK in one weeks time. We made several trips doing this. Probably 100 times in 5 years. We saw some messy things in those days.

Hope everyone was alrght and glad you made your appontment, Chris!

Everyone was so lucky, at the busiest time of the day, no-one else was involved. Thanks for commenting. #9447027

It really gives you a reality check when you see accidents like this. Glad you are feeling ok. #9447641

We could very well have been involved, we had to stop after leaving & phone home to make sure Tony's Ute was locked. It put us behind about 10 to 15 minutes, just about when this happened, how lucky was that!! #9449297
